CERTIFICATIONS, INSPECTION AND TESTING
Hollimex purchases its stock from reliable and mainly certified, leading national and international producers. This gives us the opportunity to deliver high quality products against a competitive price.
Our products are often certified according to the European EN 10204 norm 3.1. If you indicate on your order form that you require certification of the material we can usually supply these.
Inspection and testing
Hollimex can arrange many tests and inspections for you. These can be destructive or non-destructive. The most common destructive inspection is a complementary 3.2 certification under supervision of Lloyds or another authority.
Other complementary destructive tests can be executed too, for example:
- tensile-strength test
- notch bar impact test
- bending test
- ring bend test
- ring tensile test
- ring expanding test
- flaring test
- hardness test
- spectral analysis
- positive Material Identification (PMI)
The most common Non-destructive tests are for example:
- Eddy Current test
- ultrasonic examination
- Huye test
- MPE examination (Magnetic Particle Examination)
- ferrite measurement
